• Description:

  Original flint Baker style of rifle.  This piece shows an original lock dated 1810. with remnants of an East Indian marking below the pan and a crown 3 inspector mark.  The 32 1/2" barrel is mounted with a Baker style of bayonet bar.  The bore is about 65-66 caliber and may well have been rifled and was bored out to smooth bore.  This is also evidenced by the presence of a rear rifle sight.  A working lock and minor wood cracks.  This piece shows obvious age and an original rammer.  An East Indian weapon by an unknown maker.
