• Description:

  SN 337520 is a converted 96-38 Mauser.  in 6.5 X 55 caliber.  This is one of the 30,000 1896 converted to short rifle.  This piece retains the straight bolt handle and shows the Carl Gustaf 1916 marked receiver.  This piece is all matching with the exception of the front band and mag plate.  The rear sight is the scarcer adjustable rear sight.  The miss matching occured during the conversion process.  Bright very good to excellent bore and overall excellent.
