• Description:

  SN L90 is a Model 1886 Mauser-Kropatschek built by Steyr for Portugal.  This rifle is basically a copy of the 71/84 mauser rifle.  These were originally built in 8 X 60 and later in 8 X 58R caliber.  This example shows a bright excellent bore with sound rifling.  The bolt is not matching( #DD23).  It is very difficult to find a matching bolt.  (The bolts were separated in service as well were shipped separately from the rifles when imported  in the late 1960's or early 1970's) .  This variation shows the added top handguard, sound matching stock with working action.  The wood is matching, showing all original markings and normal usage marks.
