• Description:

  SN 115096 is a very scarce if not rare Webley Model 1909 restricted handgun.  There were approximately only 1700 of these pistols buit.  (1909-1922).  This pistol was built in late 1914 and is one removed from SN#11594( fig 11-12 on page 95 of "Worldwide Webley" by Stephen Guthbertson). In 1914 the slide serration was reduced to 12 cuts as per this example.  Most of this model Webley's were purchased by officers. This example shows a bright very good plus 9mm long bore, 85% original blue and an excellent pair of hand checkcered wood grip panels. With only approximately 1700 manufactured, losses were associated with the wars and the passage of time.  A very scarce if not rare Webley pistol.
