    SN 2217608 is one of the scarcer standard production nylon 22 caliber Remington rifles.  There were only 15,327 of this model built 1970-1971.  5 shot removable magazine.  There were approximately 1 million nylon 66 rifles built from 1959 to the early 1990's.  This example shows an excellent bore, brown nylon stock, mounted with quick detachable swivels. The left side of the receiver shows remnants of pitting but was refinished.  The right side rates excellent .  An overall very good to excellent example.
