• Description:

  We are pleased to offer a very scarce variation of a relatively common rifle.  There were approximately 900,000 71/84 model rifles manufactured in Germany by the various arsenals, Spandau, Danzig, etc.  The example as offered is one of only 19,000 built by Mauser Oberndorf for Wurttenburg.  This 71/84 is marked Waffenfbk Mauser.  All matching parts, bright excellent bore and overall very good plus to excellent condtiion.  The finish remains in the bright on the receiver, bolt and butt plate. The balance of the metal shows original dull blue.  The wood rates as excellent with sharp clear stampings.  The butt shows the German Regimental markings 121.R.E.4.224.  A scarce if not rare rifle for the German Military or Mauser collector.
