• Description:

  SN 41C0053 is a Lee Enfeild No 4 MK1* built by Stevens/Savage in 1953.  This example remains in  "like new" condition showing a bright excellent plus bore, all original Parkerized finish and excellent original wood showing all S (Stevens) markings and factory finish.  Matching serial numbers including the magazine.  Examination of the rifle indicates test firing only.  The mag follower and bolt show only the slightest indication of use.  This rifle is one of a lot of new in the grease rifles that were sold in the late 1960's/early 1970's by International Firearms Montreal, both Savage and Long Branch.  This piece shows the U.S. property mark on the receiver and the flaming bomb on the socket and bolt.  A collector grade example of a Savage WW2 No 4 MK 1* 303 rifle.
