  This is a very well built reproduction Broomhandle Mauser repo stock.  This example was purchased by the former owner in the mid to late 1970's.  This was well before the flood of Chinese stocks.  We don't know where this piece was built but it was well crafted .  The stock is built from very nice grain wood with an excellent fit at the butt.  The leather shows a fine leather and stitching with steel fasteners.  The reverse shows a stamp of APH Hoffmann Berlin 1916.  The tool is very well made and sound.  An excellent copy of the original German military stock rig built circa 1970's.
