  • Description:

Mauser P-38, SN 1078Q, holster rig with records.  This pistol shows a bright excellent bore and all matching numbers.  The original blue rates at 80 to 85%.  Some minor pin prick pitting on the slide and barrel edge probably associated with holster storage.  A mechanically sound example.  This pistol rides in its' original late war holster with a spare magazine.  The flap is ink marked B-163570 marked W.V. Squire A & S H of Can May 45.  We have obtained 9 pages of records that confirm that the above individual joined the Canadian Army in July of 1944 and served in the UK and North West Europe.  He returned to be discharged in June of 1946.  Private Squire was from St. Catherines, Ontario.  The ink markings on the holster are confirmed by the included military records.
