  SN H 5430 is a Mauser 1904 Verveiro rifle in its' original 6.5X58P caliber.  Designed by a Portuguese military officer and built by DWM Berlin,it has a split bridge design.  A unique Mauser that incorporates various design features in one.  The breech shows the crest of Carlos on the receiver ring.  The bore rates as bright very good. This piece shows most of its' original blue and sound wood with unit markings.  This example remains in its' original caliber. Most were converted to the 1904/M39 & rechambered .  This example remains as a 1904 rifle.
