• Description:

  SN5791A is a Martini-Enfield artillery carbine MK1 as per the 1897 markings on the left side of the receiver.  Built as a conversion of a MKIII rifle.  The barrel shows a bright excellent 303 Enfield bore.  A sound action .  The metal shows overall light pitting but sound markings.  The butt shows various issue marks and the Enfield roundel.  The disk reflects August 1900 issue to the 1st NBN RFA. The stock show issue to the Corp of cadets.  A well used example but not easily found.  Non restricted status
