• Description:

  This is a Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle chambered in 30-30.  Octagon barrel is 26" with a very bright bore with rifling that has softened a bit.   Metal surfaces are blued; the barrel retains about 85% fading but original finish along with some light dings and marks on the edges.  The frame is mostly a gray patina while the magazine tube is a plum/brown patina.  The buttstock and 9" forearm are a chocolate brown color and have a thumbnail sized bruise and 2" long scratch on the forend with some light dings and dents.  Rifle has a period blade front and buckhorn rear sight with elevator.
