  Manhattan F.A. Mfg Co New York marked Pepperbox revolver.  This example is the scarcest variation as offered by this maker.  This piece is 5 shot, 28 caliber, 3" barrel cluster built from 1856 to late 1850's.  Flayderman estimates the total production of all the Pepperbox pistols at 2500 to 3000 making this variation relatively scarce.  This piece shows overall brown petina finish, light engraving, sound grips, excellent bores and is mechanically sound.  Ref- Flayderman- 5C-005.
