  Lot of 223 (5.56 mm) cartridges that survived the destruction of the CIL/IVI reference collection at Valcartier PQ in the 1990's.  7 pieces. 1.  Canadian IVI HS 1990 16 rounds pencil marked tracer.  2. Olin Winchester sealed box dated 1966.  3. Sealed box Frankford Arsenal (17 caliber label) Also marked SMV Fax Aug 1973. 4. Box of Austrian originally marked fire cartridges marked out and ink stamped unprimed cases and pen marked mixed.  The box now contains 12 sporting round HS HP, IVI dated 1968-90&91 and one Lake City dated 1968-(from the comparison or test lab. 5.  Partial Box from lab in Twin Cities box.  Contains 4 round HS FN 1981 green tiped bullet, 5 HP IVI no date commercial 5 military TW 67& 4 IVI 1985. The top of the box show the noted cartridges in pen.  6. Box of Remnington Arms Co. 19 rounds HS RA 1964.   7. Box of blanks, 18 rounds TW 1967.  An interesting lot of cartrtidges from Canada's last ammunition manufacturing and test facility.
