• Description:

  BSA SMLE contract rifle built for Siam 1919-1920.  This contract was for only 10,000 BSA rifles.  The socket shows the mark of the wild tiger corps and "Mark Rama V1 BE 2462",the buddhist year of 1919 and the King's chosen name.  This example shows a good plus shootable bore rating better than average for one from this contract.  This example shows most of its' original blue and the correct Siamese marked bolt from the contract but not matching.  A scarce Lee Enfield considering the numbers built and the low survival rate.  Mechanically sound and in better than average condtiion.  The wood shows the Siamese mark on both the butt and forestock.  An excellent example for any Lee Enfield collection.
