• Description:

  SN 35817 R is an exceptional No 1 MK III Lee Enfield.  This rifle was originally built at one of the British factories or arsenals.  At the end of WW II the rifle was totally rebuilt at Ishapore, the British arsenal in India.  The rifle remains in excellent rebuilt condition.  All parts are matching including the wood.  The cut off slot remains but is covered by the wood.  The socket was polished and restamped RF1 1945 with AP.  The P is also found on the barrel Knox form.   The bore remains in as rebuilt condition.  A common Lee Enfield in exceptional condition.
