  • Description:

John Brasher was a Birmingham maker (1807-1831). This pistol is marked London and shows the remnants of London proofs.  This pistol needs work in that it needs a top jaw and screw and a barrel selector lever for the left side.  This piece suffered from very bad storage as evidenced by heavy pitting on the left side.  The right side need only deep cleaning.  A scarce pocket pistol that can be restored with a person who has skill and patience.  The silver escution shows the initial GB.
