• Description:

  Exceptional Pattern 1853 socket bayonet.  This piece shows the WD arrow and E/34 inspector mark.  The blade shows all of its' original polish as does the interior of the socket.  The socket shows all of its' original blue.  The bayonet rides in its original post 1866 pattern 53 leather and brass scabbard (Snider rifle) .The leather and brass has not been cleaned or polished.  The only mark is the WD arrow.  The bayonet came with its original white buff leather frog with black Bo arrow ink stamp and red date or unit mark.
