  • Description:

An excellent example of a 9" EIC Cavalry pistol dated 1810 with iron rammer.  This original flint pistol shows the standing lion and crown over 2 marked lock.  The barrel shows the gunmakers co. proofs and the ordnance crown over 9 mark.  All original flint that remains in excellent condition with the exception of the pitted top jaw & Screw.  The wood shows the EIC markings, the remnants of the stock makers name and the two ordnance crown over 7 marks.  The wood remains in excellent original condition as does the excellent plus bore.  This pistol is obviously one of the EIC pieces as sold to Ordnance during the Napoleonic or the Peninsular war.
