  SN 43315 is one of approximately 26000 1903 Hammer Colts built. (1903 to 1929). This example remains in above average condition and is a very fine example for a Colt auto collection.  This Colt shows a 4 1/2" barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  The overall finish rates as excellent showing crisp clear markings and original blue which rates at 98%.  There is only the slightest hint of edge wear.  The hammer show its case color.  Both grip panels rate as excellent plus.  The magazine is hard topped and original to the pistol.  A collector grade example.
