• Description:

  Antique Snider Mk 2* DC (Dominion of Canada) and 8th Battalion Canadian militia marking.  The 8th Battalion was from Quebec City.  This example shows a bright very good to excellent bore. The metal shows a very clean blue/brown finish. The wood is sound showing an overall excellent appearance with clear roundel (Enfield) marking.  A nice clean example of a Canadian Militia Snider rifle.  Note: the rod is correct but a modern replacement.
