• Description:

  SN 452781 is a very scarce Webley and Scott Ltd. revolver in 455 caliber with the scarce 4" barrel.  This collector grade Webely is identical to figure V1/42-A Mark VI frame with a factory fitted MKV 4" barrel - see page 208 "Webley Revolvers" by Gordon Bruce and Christian Reinhart. The one as pictured is SN 45293 and as with our example of a Webley very close to the end of the production approximately SN 455231.  Our example remains at approximately 98% original finish in and out and shows very little usage.  Unfortunately, this example is now in the prohib status  due to the 4" barrel. A scarce Webley variation .  This piece can also be sold as a dewat at the same price as offered.
