    British built military pistol circa 1845.  This pattern of pistol is identical to the flint pistols as sold to the various Indian princely states.  A percussion example is shown on page 376 of "Military British Pistols" by R.E. Brooker and described as a EIC pistol as sold to Nepal.  This example shows the 9.1" barrel ,caliber 67, excellent bore and lock.  This pistol shows the captured rod and the unique under mounted retainer spring.  An excellent original example.  Antique.
