• Description:

  British Pattern 1842 bayonet , 17" blade with a 3" socket.  Blade show the crown (struck off?) over B & broad arrow.  The maker's name is partially obscured.  These bayonets have appeared over the years in N.S. & Ontario.  These may well have been issued in small numbers to the various militia units.Very good overall condition.
