• Description:

  Antique Snider MKIII short rifle.  This sporterized short rifle is an ideal candidate for restoration or parts.  This piece was built with the steel barrel by BSA in 1872.  The barrel remains at it's original length of 30.5" with the bayonet stud removed.  The forestock was cut back.  The parts rate overall as very good plus.  The barrel shows the original sights and very good to excellent bore.  The breech block is a MKIII. The remaining wood rates as excellent and shows the British Columbia garrison artillery marking.  A good % of the original finish wood and metal remains.  Note this is a parts gun and with all parts there is a no return policy.
