  SN 5681 C is an antique 71 Mauser carbine.  This example, as with the majority of the 71 carbines, was cut back to sell as an inexpensive sporting rifle at the time.  This example shows a bright, very good antique bore with slight corrosion and very sound rifling.  An excellent example for the rebuilder to restore to its original configeration or as a black powder shooter.  Antique in Canada with all matching numbers.
