• Description:

  Excellent plus example of a 1907 Australian bayonet built at Orange in December 1942.  The bayonet works at Lithgow were transferred to Orange in July 1942.  This bayonet shows SN X99936.  The wood grip panels are marked Slaz (Slazenger Sports Factory, the manufacture of the grips) & Australia.  The blade shows excellent original blue and clear markings.  This bayonet rides in an excellent 1944 dated leather and blued steel scabbard.  An above average example.
