WW1 Webley No 2 MK 1 Flare Gun

  SN 36398 is a 1918 dated N 2 MK 1 flare pistol.  This piece shows a massive 1 1/2" bore.  This WW1 pistol shows the obvious evidence of usage.  The finish is overall mottled with some minor pitting in the muzzle area.  Clear British proofs and markings.  The original grips are complete and sound.  The piece is all matching.  This variation is less commonly found.  This model was used by artillery and stationary units in the WW1 .  Most were not reissued in WW2 .
