  U.S. Underwood carbine fitted with a 19" new barrel making this carbine non restricted.  This M1 appears to be all military with the execption of the modern commerical 19" barrel, handguard and commercial rear sight.  The bore rates as bright excellent.  The balance of the parts, receiver, etc. show a mix of military finish and brown petina.  The stock shows checkering at the wrist.  The mag is a legal 5 round capacity.  A M1 carbine that can be carried and used as a non restricted rifle.
