    The barrel is 34" octagonal to round with elevated sight bases. This piece was built in Hasle/Bern.  The barrel shows a bright excellent bore.  The sight is graduated to 900 meters. The piece is fitted with Swiss set target triggers. The metal shows a faded original blue on the barrel and faded case color on the receiver.  The wood remains in excellent condtion with an oblitereated silver name plate on the right side of the butt.  Schutzen butt and incased rod. This piece is probably 10.5x47R but a chamber cast should be taken to determine the exact caliber.  This caliber and the 10.3x60R were both used in the Swiss Martini action rifles.
