  • Description:

SN 1320 is a 35 Remington caliber Standard Arms rifle built circa 1910.  This rifle was built at the factory and shows a 22" barrel with a bright very good plus bore and rifling.  This unusual rifle was built to operate as either a semi auto or as a pump action.  The barrel shows 50% blue.  The receiver is bright and shows a number of faintly scratched names.  The pump and butt plate show ornate brass casting.  This piece shows its original sights and a Lyman tang sight.  The butt stock appears to be a better grade of multi grain wood. This rifle was sourced out of New Brunswick.  Our feeling is that this rifle was probably taken to NB by an American sporter and given to a guide at some point in time.  A unique small production rifle - 1909-1912, approximately 5,000 built in Delaware and not distribulted in Canada.  A great curio piece.
