• Description:

  Smith and Wesson Model 2 Army antique revolver, SN 42903, in exceptional condition.  This revolver was shipped in 1865 to New York as per the included S & W factory letter.  This excellent plus example shows 98% of its' original blue, case color and original grip finish.  The 32 RF bore rates as bright, excellent plus.  The cylinder shows crisp patten markings and a minor drag line.,  There are a few minor traces of corrosion on the underside of the barrel and cylinder and slight staining on the case color on the hammer.  An above average if not an exceptional example for the Canadian market.  This piece comes in a homemade display box which includes an empty Dominon .32 long rim fire box.  Antique status.
