• Description:

  Savage Model 1899 SN 147195.  This is an example of the classic 1899 sporting rifle.  This piece shows the 26" round barrel with a bright excellent 303 Savage bore.  This rifle shows a take down barrel that was introduced in 1909.  The metal shows clear stampings and 95% original blue with the original sights.  The wood shows most of its' original varnish and the "Perch-Belly" butt which was eliminated in 1920.  A very good to excellent example of a collector grade Savage 1899 rifle.
