  SN 38403 is a pre war Browning Trombone (pump) rifle in 22 LR.  This pre war piece shows a 22" barrel with the FN address.  This example was built circa 1930's but remains with 95% of its original blue and a bright excellent bore.  The wood remains in excellent condition with minor usage marks and most of its' original finish.  There were approximately 150,000 of these rifles built with the majority built post WW2.  The receiver was built without scope rails.  Scarce and excellent example for the 22 rifle or Browning collector.
