• Description:

  Pattern 1888 MKII Lee Metford bayonet.  This example is dated 9/96 and marked Wilkinson London.  The reverse shows the WD and inspector mark.  The cross guard is marked R,Q,G,A 1 19.  Our interpretation is that this marking is for the Royal Quebec Garrison Artillery No 1 Battery issue No 19 out of 45. Excellent blade, clear markings with deep inspector mark on both grip panels.  Light pitting on the pommel.
