Pair of Shot Pouch & Powder Horn
- Maker: NFLD
Pair of powder horn and shot pouch. A unique pair of items from the outports of Newfoundland. The shot pouch is probably seal skin with a brass spout. The top acts as both a cover and a shot measure. The horn, 8" overall, shows a unique homemade charger with a side mounted spring. Both pieces came together and were probably built by the same person. A very neat pair of shooting accessories from the late 19th or early 20th century that remain in their original state.
