  SN PF 309281 is a 1953 built No 4 MK 2 Lee Enfield built at Fazakerley.  These post war rifles have the trigger mounted on the receiver.  These rifles were "better built" than most of the war time production No 4's.  The rear sight is graduated from 200 to 1300 yards. This example shows a bright excellent bore.  The metal shows clear markings and black enamel paint finish.  The beech stock shows normal service usage but is sound.  A very good example of a No4 MK 2 303 caliber rifle.
