Japanese Type 14 Nambu Holster

• Description:

  A Japanese holster built with rubberized canvas.  This example is sound but is slightly hardened with age Three interesting Japanese  symbols on the flap interior.  The leather on the tie down is separating.  No strap with this example. It shows the leather firing pin pouch on the right side of the ammo pouch.  It also shows the black lacquered paint on the catch and the shoulder strap rings.  A variation as noted on page 138 of "Military Holsters of WW2" by Bender .
