  SN208728 is an excellent plus example of a WW2 Ithaca 1911A1 US army pistol.  This is a pistol showing 99% plus original Du-Lite finish with a blued HS marked barrel showing no sign of feed marks on the mag follower, or barrel ramp or bolt face and mint bore.  The metal shows only slight edge wear not associated with usage.  The original grips and magazine show no wear.  FJA inspector mark, built 1943-1945.  "As new "example.
