Henry Nock (1760-1810) was a famous gun maker in both London and Birmingham. This boxlock shows his name and is fitted with the sliding safety as invented by him. This pistol is mechanically sound but shows a finish with wear and some pitting. The cock screw was replaced at some time and is functional but not correct. The frizzon screw was replaced by an incorrect hook. 46 cal 1 1/2" barrel with a very good bore. The overall length is 6".
