• Description:

  SN 5499 is a 71/84 Mauser rifle built at Danzig Arsenal in 1887.  This Mauser shows a bright very good plus bore with excellent rifling.  The rifle is all matching.  The finish shows some scattered light pitting and an old refinsh.  The action is correctly "in the white" with a correct matching bolt. The wood rates very good plus.  The tang shows unit marking R.14 110.  A better than average example of a 43/11MM Mauser rifle. (Non Restricted Status)
