  SN 20841 is a French Model 1907/15 Berthier WW1 issued and used rifle.  This is an above average example with all matching numbers including the wood.  Overall excellent blue with clear sharp stampings.  The bore remains as bright excellent.  The barrel and action are marked with an N which indicated that the rifle was rechambered for the post 1932 ball W cartridge, 8 X 50 R.  These rifles were built for a 3 shot stripper.  An excellent example for the French or bolt action collector.
