  SN 9160 SA is a Colt Single Action Army in the scarcer 38 special caliber.  This Colt was built in the 2nd year of production of the post war guns  in 1957.  The 38 special was dropped in 1964 due to the increase of popularity of the 357 mag that could also fire the 38 SPL.  This revolver shows the 5 1/2" barrel with a bright ,excellent bore,95% blue with most loss at the muzzle and straps.  It shows most of the case color and its original grips.  The front sight blade was modified by a prior owner by adding a bead.  This is repairable.
