Canadian Used Union Jack Flag

• Description:

  Union Jack vintage flag 43 1/2" by 33" mounted on a 52 1/2" octagonal oak pole.  The flag remains in sound condition with a few minor pin holes and obvious age of the material.  The story on this piece is that it was brought back from the North by a member of the RNWMP.  This information obviously can't be verified.  The only marking in British made on one of the panels.  An interesting vintage piece.  The Union Jack became the official flag of Canada in 1904.
