Canadian Hi Power Pattern 64 Holster

  A John Inglis holster rig.  This is the Pattern 64.  This holster is shown on page 202 of Clive Law's book Inglis Diamond.  This holster used velcro to attach the same to the issue belt.  The belt also utilized velcro to adjust the belt.  This was not a popular piece of kit but remains as an example of a unqiue piece of Canadian militaria.  This piece comes with an original oil bottle marked PM in a triangle. See page 203 of the aforesaid reference.
