Canadian 2 Blade M&D 1916 WW1 Knife

  A less than common WW1 Canadian issue pocket knife.  This piece show M&D Canada 1916 on one scale.  The overall length with the blade opened is 8".  This piece differes as it was not built with a Marlin spike.  We have not seen an example of this piece to date. It was built by a Sheffield maker probably for one paticular Canadian military unit or trade that needed such a knife.  The piece is complete .  The blades show pitting.   An uncommon WW1 knife.
