  An excellent plus example of a British 1888 pattern bandolier dated 1901.  This piece would be of the type that first saw service in the Boer war.  This 6 pouch belt was built to take 50 303 cartridges.  All of the leather and stiching remains in excellent condition .  This piece was built in 1901 which was the date of introduction of the 1901 pattern bandolier.  Maker marked R.D C Wobury and Sons Ltd. Walsall.  This bandolier shows no cracking and is in above average condition. Used by the military and militia units.
