• Description:

  Australian 1907 bayonet built at Lithgow 1915.  Crossguard is marked 5 MD (Military District) # 3978.  The blade is 60-70% original blue with clear markings.  The pommel shows #50331 and the grip panel is stamped Australia.  This Australian built scabbard is dated 1943.  This bayonet may have seen service in both WW1 and WW2.  A very good example that need cleaning.
