Argentine Pattern 1909 Short Sword

  Model 1909 Argentine artillery short sword.  14 1/2" blade marked with the Argentine crest and the Argentine maker on the reverse. J.C. Suarez cy .  These Argentine built examples appear to be scarcer than the German built examples as sold to Argentina.  The blade remains in bright excellent condition.  The wood grip panels show obvious usage but remain in sound condition.  The SN is marked on the cross guard G06774.  The steel scabbard is from the same series but #G03689. A less common example.
