  Original antique Matchlock musket.  This military style of Matchlock shows a 42 3/4" Damascus iron barrel.  The 5 foot musket is an actually used example and not a reproduction or decorator musket.  The bore rusted showing corrosion and obvious use.  This piece shows its obvious age which is difficult to determine(late 1700 to the 1850 era?. The match lock functions correctly.  The design suggests South East Asia. Not recommended for firing unless tested by a licenced gunsmith, Sound military style of wood.  Antique.
